Paragliding in East Frisia (Ostfriesland)
If you want to go paragliding here in the Northwest, winch towing is the way to go due to the lack of mountains and dunes. Together with our neighboring clubs in the northern network, we organize flight operations across Northern Germany.
Our Region
As a non-profit club, our playground stretches from Aurich and the East Frisian Islands in the north, across Oldenburg and Bremen in the east, down south to Papenburg and Cloppenburg, and all the way into the Netherlands (Groningen and Drenthe). We are highly interconnected -you can find a full list and direct links to all clubs in the north in our side menu under the "Vereine" (Clubs) section.
Flight Ops & Guest Pilot Registration
We operate a total of three flying sites, allowing us to take off in pretty much any wind direction. Looking to join us as a guest pilot? You can sign up using the registration table on the right or at the bottom of this page. Whenever a flight day is scheduled, it will be posted under "Aktivitäten" (cativities) and right here on the website. We also use WhatsApp (optional) and a mailing list where guests can easily subscribe or unsubscribe themselves.
Important Note on Tandem Flights & Training
Heads up: Since we are a strictly non-profit club with no commercial operations, we cannot offer regular pilot training or tandem flights. The only exceptions are special events, such as our annual flying camp.
